Exchange with Norway

From January 18th to 25th ten 3rd ESO students travelled to Namdalseid (Norway) as part of a school exchange. The Norwegian school's name is Namdalseid skole and is located in Namdalseid, a town 159 km far from Trondheim, the third largest city in Norway.
The experience was amazing: we rode snowmobiles, learned about ice fishing, Sami costumes, saw moose, tried skiing, etc. And the most important thing: we lived as Norwegians and made friends for life.

Thanks a lot Namdalseid community!!!!!!

New year, new destination: Seattle! Seattle is a coastal seaport city in the US state of Washington. It is the largest city in both the State of Washington and the Pacific Northwest region of North America and the fastest-growing major city in the United States.
The Seattle metropolitan area of around 3.6 million inhabitants is the 15th largest metropolitan area in the United States. Seattle is also the 8th largest port in the United States and the 9th in North America.
Apart from this, Seattle is also famous for its musical history. From 1918 to 1951, there were nearly two dozen of jazz nightclubs in the city; and it is the birthplace of rock musician Jimmy Hendrix and the alternative rock style grunge.

The Volvo Ocean Race is a yacht race around the world, held every three years. Originally named after its initiating sponsor, British Whitebread brewing company, it today carries the name of its current sponsor, Swedish automobile manufacturer Volvo. Presently, the Netherlands holds the record of three wins.

Though the route is changed to accommodate various ports of call, the race typically departs Europe in October, and in recent editions has had either 9 or 10 legs, with in-port races at many of the stopover cities.

Each of the entries has a sailing team of 9 professional crew who race day and night for more than 20 days at a time on some of the legs. They each have different jobs on board the boat, and on top of these sailing roles, there are two sailors that have had medical training, as well as a sailmaker, an engineer and a dedicated media crew member.

No fresh food is taken on board, so the crew lives off freeze-dried fare; they will experience temperature variations from -5 to +40 degrees Celsius and will only take one change of clothes.
