ICT activity - February (1st & 4th ESO)
J.K. Rowling is a British novelist, best
known as the author of the Harry Potter fantasy series. The Potter
books have gained worldwide attention, won multiple awards, and sold more than
400 million copies. They have become the best-selling book series in
history, and been the basis for a series of films which has become the
highest-grossing film series in history.
We'll also have a look at the Harry Potter exhibition, an international travelling exhibition featuring hundreds of authentic props, costumes, artifacts and set dressings from the Harry Potter films.

ICT activity - 5th primary
Make a poster of a country
First - choose a country (sorry, but you can't choose Spain) and tell your teacher the one you have chosen.
Second - Include the following information in English:
- name of the country.
- flag: picture and description.
- capital city.
- official language.
- demonym (the name used for the people who live in a particular country or locality. For
example: Spain - SPANISH).
- population.
- famous people from that country and their job or activity.
- two pictures of the country.
Third - make the poster with all the information you have.
Fourth - save it in "my Documents" as a pdf file with your two names.
Fifth - send it to your teacher by email using your albotic account.

Exchange with Poland - 3rd ESO
We're back. We've spent a great week in Poland and we've had the opportunity to meet the most wonderful people. We can hardly believe we've been so lucky. Now it's our time to prepare the activities for their visit and to make them feel like home.
We're looking forward to meeting you again! Thanks for everything!

3rd ESO - exchange with Poland
From January 12th to 19th fifteen 3rd ESO students will travel to Józefów (Poland) as part of a school exchange. The Polish school's name is Gimnazjum nr 1 im. Laczniczek Armii Krajowej and is located in Józefów, a town just 25 km far from the capital city, Warsaw.
As part of this exchange, and apart from the visits, we're collaborating on an eTwinning project about our countries, customs, etc. Here you are the link to our project: Poland meets Spain.

Project with Norway
The students in 2nd ESO are collaborating in a project with a Norwegian school. The icing on the cake will be a trip to Norway in December 2014. But now, we're sending them lots of Christmas cards and two bars of turron for them to try. We hope they like it!
